LinkedIn News – ‘Suggested Posts’

LinkedIn Algorithm changes and what it means for your posts.

LinkedIn is cooking up something big that could give your best posts a serious boost in visibility. Get ready for "suggested posts" – a game-changing way for your content to pop up in other people's feeds, targeted to the right audience for months, or even years.

According to Tim Jurka, the senior director of engineering at LinkedIn, the current scenario of content quickly fading away in the newsfeed is about to get a major upgrade.

"Right now, content lives and dies on the newsfeed very quickly," says Jurka.

LinkedIn's mission is to compile the ultimate professional knowledge hub on its platform, ensuring your gems (or Jems, by our standards) resurface whenever someone needs a dose of your expertise.

This move is part of LinkedIn's evolution, shifting focus from the pursuit of virality to championing "knowledge and advice."

What’s going on in the world of Jem?

Life as a business owner can be incredible but it can also mean sacrificing a lot of evenings and personal time. Which is why Jem is trying to find the right balance between work and play. Have you ever been to a candlelight concert? Jem and Josh went to a Coldplay one recently and they would absolutely recommend them!  This month, Jem will be enjoying a spa day with two good friends that she knows on and off of LinkedIn. The power of LinkedIn, you don’t just generate leads, you make real friendships too.

Jem is also joining The Business Catalyst, a networking even to build business relationships and bring people together. Are you joining any new networking events this year?

If not, we might have the perfect social one for you…

The Social Games Returns

Well, she’s making progress on her driving lessons, her instructor has now asked her to book her test in! So, it’s getting closer to Sarah having the freedom to drive wherever she wants.

She also attended the Emo Fest in Norwich, reliving the music of her teens. Because life is too short, to not have fun.
